Lulla Oliveira’s album Afro-Brazilian
Sonorous Forge is instrumental and represents the Brazilian jazz
born in African traditions: “If jazz had been created in
Brazil, it would be this combination of sounds”. The multi-instrumentalist
mixed traditional religious Candomblé beats with sophisticated
and modern rhythms to compose the 13 songs presented in this album.
